Medical-Legal Services

Assisting attorneys and other legal support staff with medical-legal record organization. The following services may be provided:
 
bulletComprehensive review, analysis and development of medical, employee health and employment and other pertinent health/insurance records including legal documents for correlation to the allegations as per the Summons and Complaint;
bulletDrafting of/assisting the paralegal and/or attorney with medical-legal documentation and legal documents under attorney supervision;
bulletSummarization reports to insurance companies;
bulletFacilitating communication within the legal team, as well as assisting with development of collaborative case strategies;
bulletProvide medical-legal research including literature search and retrieval, health care guidelines, federal/ state regulations and standards of care as dictated by the allegations;
bulletIdentifying, locating, evaluating and working with medical-legal expert witnesses and the legal team as a collaborative link between the medical-legal issues;
bulletAssisting the legal team in assessing issues of causation and damages as it pertains to the alleged allegations;
bulletPreparation of demonstrative evidence;
bulletTrial, deposition and other legal hearing preparation including development of questions to be used at legal proceedings, comprehensive medical chronologies, organization of medical records per your preference.
DLR Associates can also partner with physicians and/or physician groups to review any medical-legal documentation for accuracy or assistance to help the physician and the staff to meet standard of care requirements.
